25th EDBD FOR US

All of the music by the bands that attended was great! The set up was so much better than last year, going back to the original set up from several years ago. The grounds were kept pretty clean; it can’t be easy to pick up after that many people. We have done VIP for years. This is the most expensive we have paid for half of what we used to get. I get it, the economy sucks, but it also sucks for the music lovers that save up to go to a special event that they love every year and feel let down. The VIP bathrooms were kept extremely clean which is nice and having the water and soda included is amazing in that heat! We were excited to have newer and more popular bands this year (rather than old bands like Candlebox again). It was a disappointment to have Falling In Reverse back out due to necessary voice rest (though no one’s fault). I feel like Sevendust and The Pretty Reckless deserved to be on the main stage. But there were so many people in attendance that we couldn’t really get close to the stage by that point so at least got a better view at the smaller stage. The merchandise lines were horrible. I think having more than one area for purchases could have helped. We wanted some stuff but sure wasn’t going to waste that much time away from the stages to stand in line.

Disappointed

Within an hour of getting to the show they were out of water and most drinks (except beer), I was unable to find any kind of ADA viewing areas for either stage. If their were any they were not clearly marked and nobody I asked knew anything. It was not announced until last minute that Falling in Reverse would not be playing. I find it highly unlikely that they were onsite, i believe WJRR probably knew the band wasnt there. Breaking Benjamin sounded great but didnt play as long as expected, they seemed to cut their set about a half hour short even though they went on early.
